Recruiting Appearances
Come visit the Starcross Percussion booth at the Collegiate Marching Band Festival at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, PA on Sunday, September 29th. We'll have information as well as some promotional giveaway items.
We will be at the Nazareth Sound Fest competition on October 19th. Stop by and say hello! We'll likely be by the concessions stand!
First Wednesday's Fundraiser
This year Starcross will be holding recurring restaurant fundraisers throughout the Lehigh Valley. Starting in October, on the first Wednesday of the month, Starcross will be at a local restaurant (Chik Fil A, Chipotle, etc....) and will receive a portion of the proceeds raised during the event. During these events we will also have information about the group and our upcoming season as well as possible giveaways and Starcross logo apparel for purchase.
2019 Closing Thoughts
2019 has been a very exciting season for Starcross Percussion. We set some high goals this season and were able to achieve most of them. In 2019 we emerged as a Marching ensemble after a few years of rebuilding as a concert organization. In the same season, we competed in WGI, Cavalcade Indoor, and TIA achieving Regional Finalist status in WGI, an Independent A championship in Cavalcade and a Silver Medal at Atlantic Coast Championships. We've learned a lot and are moving quickly to begin planning for 2020.
We will provide updated information on plans for 2020 as they become public.
We can't wait to see you all again in 2020 and hope that some of you will make the decision to become part of Starcross.
2019 Cavalcade Champions
On March 23, 2019 Starcross Percussion took part in the Cavalcade Indoor Associations Championships held at Spring Ford High School. Starcross was named Independent A champions for the circuit. We look forward to potentially defending that title in 2020.
